Welcome. We are glad that you’ve stopped by the official website of Congregation Beth Emeth. We are a Messianic Hebrew Congregation formally located in Minooka, Illinois and now in Park Falls, Wisconsin with interactive online access to our ministry. Congregation Beth Emeth was founded in 1976 by Rabbi (Teacher) Ascher Carl whose desire it was to bring the teaching of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) first to the Jew and then to the Gentile. We do not consider ourselves as Christians or Jewish-Christians, rather part of the remnant returning from the Diaspora. We not only respect, but encourage those whose desire it is to return to the common Israelite roots of both Judaism and Christianity. As such, our worship services are done in both Hebrew and English. We hold to Yeshua HaMashiach’s fundamental teaching that the Written Torah given Moshe (Moses) on Mt. Sinai, has not been abolished. Rather, as recorded in Jeremiah 31:30-34, Adonai (God) would “make a new (renewed) covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah”. This New (Renewed) Covenant (Brit Hadassah) was not to be recorded in written form and administered by men as with the Written Torah, but written in the hearts of men and administered by the Adonai’s Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). We hold to the understanding that this New (Renewed) Covenant hasn’t replaced the Written Torah given to Moshe but that the Written Torah itself serves as the unquestioned foundation of this New (Renewed) Covenant. In this respect, this New (Renewed) Covenant is “new” for those who heretofore haven’t been subject to the Written Torah (Gentiles) but is a “renewed” covenant for those who have been subject to the Written Torah (Israelites-Jews). That while portions of this New (Renewed) Covenant have already been fulfilled with Yeshua’s first coming, it won’t be completely fulfilled until Yeshua’s second coming. It is for this reason that we believe that the entire Bible; the Torah (first five books of the “Old Testament”), Tanakh (the remaining books of the “Old Testament”, and the Brit Hadassah (New Testament) are inseparable as the inerrant Word of God (Adonai-HaShem). That no one is authorized to add or subtract from it. And, that the only way for any person to fully interpret, understand, and live according to the entire Bible is through the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). As a congregation, while we see value in much of “Jewish Tradition,” we do not adhere to it when it comes in conflict with what Adonai (HaShem) has already instituted. Congregation Beth Emeth is a place where both Jews and Gentiles will worship the One True Elohim (God) of Israel through the ministry of Yeshua HaMashiach. It is our endeavor that anyone who chooses to attend Congregation Beth Emeth never feel as a stranger but rather as a respected and effective extension of the body of Yeshua.
